Our Visits take place during the summer months of May, June and July.  All visits are usually within a distance which allows us to return on the same day

The Costs of our Visits are as follows:​

• The price changed to the Association by the organisation which we are visiting.  In many instances the Association will receive a discounted group rate.  Participating Members pay only what the Association is charged. 

• Transport costs are then added.  For longer journeys we prefer to us a coach so that Members can arrive at the venue in a relaxed frame of mind.   However, coach hire costs have risen dramatically in the last few years and it is becoming increasingly difficult for Members to afford these costs.

• Our alternative to coach travel is a 'drive youself' policy.  For those Members who do not drive longer distances we try to arrange a 'lift' with another Member who is driving themself, have a spare seat in the car and are willing to take a passenger.  We think it is only fair for the Member given a lift to contribute to the cost of the volunteer driver.

• Non-Members may take part in our Outdoor Visits but pay an Administration Fee of £5 per person per visit and cannot take part in out volunteer driver scheme.  

           

Booking  for one of our Visits must be made on the 'Booking Form' for that Visit.  Members are sent this by email.  Non-Members need to contact the Secretary in order to obtain the correct 'Booking Form'.   All bookings must be made by the due date highlighted on the 'Booking Form'.

Payment must be made at the time of booking and can be made in cash, by cheque or Online.
