Indoor Meetings take place between January and April (inclusive) and again between September and December (inclusive).  The Summer months are used for Outdoor Visits.

The Venue for the Indoor Meetings is Hallcroft Community Centre, off Randle Way Retford Nottinghamshire DN22 7GR.

There is ample parking to the side of the Centre.  For our Meetings we use the Main Hall, which is to the right of the main entrance.  There are toilets and there is a kitchen for serving our end of Meeting light refreshments.  These refreshments are included in the price of entry.

Please note:  The main entry door is self closing and locking.  We do try to keep it open until just after the start of the Meeting at 7.30 pm.  If it is locked when you arrive then please tap on the window of the Main Hall to the right of the entrance.

The Dates for Indoor Meetings are published in our Programme 2026 leaflet. (Please also see the 'Programme 2026' page on this website.)   Indoor Meetings are always held on the first Thursday of the month.

The Start Time for Indoor Meetings is always 7.30 pm.  Doors open at 7.10 pm and the Entrance Fee is taken on entry. 


Entry Fee  for Indoor Meetings is £2 per person per Meeting for Members and £3.50 per person per Meeting for non-Members.  

Format of Meetings the same for most Meetings.  We start with any Notices which the Chairman or Committee Members feel are necessary.  These are kept to a minimum.

This is followed by the introduction of the speaker and the topic.  The talk usually lasts about 1hr 15 mins.  This is usually a slide show.  The Speaker then takes questions and then light refreshments are served.
